Emberbound Saga

Emberbound Saga is the kind of mobile RPG that respects your time without dumbing anything down. You lead a small band of exiles across a dying continent, and the turn-based battles ask real decisions — who to shield, when to spend a limited burst ability, which enemy to kill first before it summons more.

The writing carries it. Party members argue, change their minds, and occasionally leave if you ignore them, and the branching late-game pays off choices you made hours earlier. Progression is generous but never trivial; the skill grid lets you specialise characters without boxing them in.

My one complaint is that early grinding drags a bit before the systems open up. Push past chapter two and it becomes one of the best stories on mobile right now.
