About

PixelTrail started as a group chat where four friends kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't stop playing. At some point we figured we should write this stuff down properly instead of losing it in a feed. So here we are.,We're independent. Nobody pays us to say nice things, and if a game bores us after twenty minutes we'll say that too. The point is to save you from downloading something that looks great in the trailer and feels hollow by level five.,How we pick games: we look at what friends are talking about, what shows up in store charts, and the odd hidden thing someone on the team stumbles into at 2am. Then we actually play it — not a demo, the real campaign — before deciding whether it's worth a page here.,We care most about story, progression and how a game feels on a touchscreen. A clever RPG with clumsy controls isn't getting a glowing score from us, no matter how deep the skill tree goes.
